Are you interested in:

• working in international teams and meeting students and volunteers from abroad?
• knowing how social change can be reached through sport and physical activity?
• knowing different organisation that work all around the world using sport to tackle conflict, social inclusion, HIV/AIDS education?
• visiting Berlin and organisations that use sport as a tool for social change?

The aim of the project is to contribute to innovation in the area of sport studies and development studies. It fosters participatory approaches in explaining how sport and physical activities can be harnessed as a tool for further social development and for the creation of social changes. Students will gain new knowledge from the area of SDP (Sport for Development and Peace), they will work in international groups, will discuss current problems and will learn from different examples how sport can contribute to their solution.

What is the plan for this academic year?

• Winter school in Olomouc, Czech Republic: 3rd to 9th February 2020
• Online activity: February – May 2020
• Field trip and conference in Berlin: 11th to 15th May 2020

Who can participate and what can you gain?

• Students of FTK (any specialization) and students of MRS, ESUR, IDS, FED, MRES
• 6 ECTS
• field trip and conference in Berlin are covered (transport, accommodation, pocket money for food).
