Final field trip to Brighton and Eastbourne, UK

A final event of the GloKnoCo project, a field trip to Brighton and Eastbourne in the UK, took part between the 19th and 23rd September 2022. We were hosted by our project partner, University of Brighton. Our students, youth leaders from the NGOs and academic staff visited several sessions of the training programme run by the Football4Peace initiative. During the week, we also visited local organisations and projects using sports for social and cultural change. These included charity initiatives linked to professional sports clubs: Albion in The Community (https://albioninthecommunity.org.uk/) and Sussex Cricket Foundation (https://sussexcricket.co.uk/sussex-cricket-foundation) as well as community-based initiatives, VYD (https://www.vydcic.org/) and Nam Yang Martial Arts Club (https://www.namyangbrighton.co.uk/).

It was a great finish to the 3 years long project.
